  1. They are smarter.
  2. so they wont have to pay taxes
  3. perhaps they are hard to notice because they are more generous and helpful instead of griping about how much they are FORCED TO HELP THEIR FELLOWMAN
  4. Funny isnt it. They got there in the Capitalist society. We'll see how they like Obama's way.
  5. Because the other party stinks
  6. It's funny you say that because it becomes news when they haven't paid their taxes for years.
  7. Why were the Enron executives registered Democrats -- and the Fannie/Freddie/AIG execs too? Why are the smartest people for the White House tax-cheats? Seems to me if you can't figure out a simple IRS form, you're not qualified to handle the monetary policy that affects the entire world. Double-standard...nothing more.
  8. all those men are highly educated just like most liberals and gates was a college dropout but he dropped out of Harvard so he had to be smart to get in there
  9. The same reason most intelligent, creative and artistic people tend to be liberal. It takes a high degree of creativity and intelligence to make that much money, generally speaking.
  10. Because they KNOW something that you don't and thats how to make money and keep it!
  11. I guess a person can get rich enough to get their morals back.
  12. Because they see the inherent unfairness of a system that has rewarded them with many thousands of times more than they can ever use, while at the same time forcing many hard working people to live in poverty. Warren Buffet and Bill Gates also have remarked on how bad the inheritance based system is for our country- Buffet likened it to sending athletes to the Olympics not based on their performance, but because they are the children of the past winners of the Olympics. A system based on merit will build a more prosperous nation.
  13. You honestly think the Waltons are liberal Democrats? Or Sheldon Adelson?
  14. Liberals still hold on to that FDR era cliche that "Republicans are for the rich and Democrats are for the poor". It's a proven fact that Republicans give way more to charities than Dems do. And the same can be said for rich Republicans.
  15. they are hypocrites. They attacked rich republicans in their campaigns to get POOR votes..look how they critiqued Sarah Palin's clothes?? Like she wasn't suppose to wear designer duds. HYPOCRISY. And they through a fit over the fact Mccain forgot the number of homes he owns..lol They ALL have nice homes. LOTS OF THEM... Research George Soros people!!! Why do democrats love slanderous lies instead of the truth? Democrats' claims of poverty merely serve to show how out of touch elected Democrats are with actual incomes in America. At the Democratic National Convention, for example, there were heartfelt tributes to the daunting self-sacrifice of both Barack and Michelle Obama for passing up lucrative jobs to work in "public service" -- which apparently is now defined, such as in Michelle Obama's case, as "working as a 'diversity coordinator' at a big city hospital for $300,000 a year." On the Huffington Post, operated by a woman who acquired her wealth by marrying a rich gay guy connected to Big Oil, liberal blogger Steven Clemons gloated that, unlike John McCain, Biden wouldn't "forget the number of houses he owns," adding that, in 2006, Biden was ranked the poorest U.S. senator. According to tax returns for Biden and his public schoolteacher wife, in 2006, their total income was $248,459; in 2007, it was $319,853 -- putting the couple in the top 1 percent of all earners in the U..S.
  16. Manipulation of the system. "Sheldon Surak" may talk of their generosity, but how does charity make a person rich? Bill Gates started his philanthropy after he was under investigation for anti-trust violations. He spends millions in order to keep his billions and people fall for it. Warren Buffet claims to want higher taxes, knowing that he can afford them while many of the "lower rich" ($250,000 to $1 million) can not. That way Buffet can reap the benefits of buying out smaller businesses. PS. A note to liberals and conservatives: the difference between right and wrong goes beyond ideology. If you look at someone's political affiliation when judging them, you do not know what is right and what is wrong.
